There is magic in the everyday

While you are waiting!

๐ŸŒธ There is life to be lived.

Do what lights you up. Your job is to feel good.

โœจMake a list of your ‘little’ things which excite you, make you feel good & in turn raise your vibration.

There is magic in the everyday. Intentionally create moments that feel good. If it doesnt feel good look for ways to make it fun – eg  cleaning jobs you loath – listen to an audiobook while you do it, or deligate

โœจIf you arent sure what it is that lights you up try some things, make a note of what works, try some more, and so on. Then keep doing the feel good things.

Enjoy the journey โœจ

What are 3 things you love to do to feel good?

My Night time routine

I thought I would share a bit of my Night Routine ๐ŸŒ™

I have a cuppa usually an hour or so before I go to bed. Usually Berry Radical – For the relaxing benefits of magnesium & that chocolaty taste. other times a Jasmine green tea or herbal tea. Another fave is turmeric, masala with a dash of honey๐Ÿฏ. I must try this one with the new turmeric oil which I got in my Doterra convention kit.

I wash my face with the Miessence Cream cleanser for sensitive skin. Then I apply my face oil which is an almond oil base with frankincense & Lavender oils.  I add a drop of Vetiver to my face for calming & sleep support, after I’ve rubbed it on my face I rub the rest on the soles of my feet. ๐Ÿ‘ฃ

Feed the Mind

I always try to Read a physical book before sleeping to help me calm down & get off the screen. I have also started doing ‘Pages before Scrolls’ reading at least 10 pages of a book first thing in the morning. Which is a great way to choose the content you are consuming, as opposed to being bombarded by the current of content from the outside world. I am currently reading an Abraham Hicks book @abrahamhickspublications – The astonishing power of emotions. As well as Rising strong – by @brenebrown ๐Ÿ“š

Relax the mind

I always listen to a meditation as going to sleep, I’m not sure if I can get to sleep without one. I find it helps me unwind, get into a deep sleep and I just leave the meditation playlist running so it just goes on giving the message to my subconscious I guess. Its always an Oprah & Deepak Chopra meditation I love their series my faves are – ‘Hope in uncertain times’ & Abundance.  They have a new free 21-day meditation series coming up ‘Energize your life’. This new round starts on Oct 29th its free & you can Join here. Also once you’ve joined one you get notified each time they start a new 21 day series, or you can purchase them.

Then Sleep ๐Ÿ˜ด

I have been aiming to get to bed early and this is something I really want to get into place. I have read Arianna Huffington’s ‘The Sleep Revolution’ and love Shawn Stevenson’s talks on sleep. Ultimately I just know that its a great foundation for overall wellbeing and avoiding burnout.
What is your fave part of your nighttime routine? or one thing you want to start doing each night? Let me know in the comments below.

Natural & Organic make up round up

The natural & organic make up products that I use & love.

I use these brands as I choose to use cruelty free, natural, organic, chemical free skincare & cosmetics.

My Products

๐Ÿ„ Living Nature Black eyeliner – I got mine from Health 2000

๐Ÿ„ Inika certified organic brunette brow pencil

๐Ÿ„ Miessence porcelain translucent liquid foundation – light coverage can be used like a B.B. cream too. I find it builds up well with the concealer – for dark under eye etc & then powder to set.

๐Ÿ„ Miessence concealer in two shades – one darker shade for contouring and one the same colour as my foundation. I use the lighter one under my eyes, brow bone & along the bridge of my nose and up between brows to forehead

๐Ÿ„ Miessence blush in ginger blossom – I don’t use this a lot. When I do I only need a touch.

๐Ÿ„ Miessence mascara – not waterproof but I find it really good unless you cry. And it’s organic of course. ( they’ve taken the mascara offline at the moment ๐Ÿ˜ข)

๐Ÿ„ Miessence translucent powder – to set my foundation

๐Ÿ„ World organics – the organic skin co eyeshadows. I have two pallets – Espresso Love (left) & Twilight Star (right). The packaging is bamboo with the metal insets with the powder inside. I wasn’t 100 on the ingredients but I had looked for an eyeshadow for so long that it was the best I’d come across in the natural realm.

๐Ÿ„Miessence bronzer – I use this sometimes like a contour round the ‘3’ and under my jawline.

๐Ÿ„ Karen Murrell Red lipstick – number 12 Rymba Rhythm. I got mine at Health 2000.

I’ve been using Miessence for 10 years now, I love the products & ethical heart of the brand. Love that it was started by a mama concerned about chemicals.

What’s your favourite natural makeup product & brand? Always looking for options.
