What do you want to see more of?

I haven’t posted on here with a full post for awhile.

I’ve been doing my Fab Friday posts – they are abit of fun with four things I’m loving at the time,  to keep some thing regular.

I’ve been abit lost with what it is I want to be offering and talking about here.

So as you may have seen earlier this year I added Doterra as another product partner, along with Miessence. This added another dimension to my business.
I have been trying to get clarity on what I want my site / brand to be about as I feel it’s going through an evolution.

You may have noticed I’ve switched up my Facebook page to my name I had to change it a few times as it can’t be a radical change from the name you have on there already. I changed because Organic Goody was a name I chose a long time ago when I partnered with Miessence and didn’t feel like it encompassed all that I talk about.
I like to talk on

๐Ÿ’Ÿ self love

๐Ÿ’Ÿ mindset

๐Ÿ’Ÿ empowerment

๐Ÿ’Ÿ  environmental impact & solutions

๐Ÿ’Ÿ gratitude

Amongst a few other things.

You’ll still see some changes happening here as I find my feet.
๐Ÿ’Ÿ I would love to know what you want to see more of?

๐Ÿ’Ÿ What do you like reading about?

๐Ÿ’Ÿ What solutions are you after?
I’d really appreciate your feedback in the comments below or message me – Instagram seems to be the easiest currently.

Thanks so much.

Enough with the coffee

Today I had a really crappy decafe coffee at a cafe.
It’s not the first I’ve had lately. So earlier this year I gave up caffeine – again ๐Ÿ™„ caffeine in coffee anyway.  I switched to decafe.  I was getting wired & thought it would be beneficial in regards to cortisol levels ( stress hormones).

I wasn’t ready to give up my addiction to the cafe culture – I do fricken love it.  I don’t know where it came from – I think I associated it with ‘fancy professional people’ when I was younger. It felt abundant to go sit & enjoy a coffee in a cafe.

Anyway back to today. That coffee was crap it cost me $5.30 & I couldn’t drink more than a couple of mouthfuls. When I used to work in a cafe people bringing things back was never an issue but I haven’t got the nerve to take them back these days. At home we always say life’s to short to drink a crappy coffee / tea / etc.

I’m giving up my addiction to cafe culture ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Yes I’m going to give my coffee money to a worthy cause. I give to Oxfam & Greenpeace each month currently and my son sponsors a guide dog.

Looking for inspiration for my coffee money  โ˜•๏ธ ๐Ÿ’ฐ

Let me know in the comments below tips on giving up cafes ๐Ÿ˜ or worthy causes you love.

Zero Waste Products I use & love

1. Klean Kanteen

My stainless steel water bottle. It is actually an insulated too. It can be used for coffee or anything hot so its a bonus that its multi use.

2. Thinx Underwear

Skip past if you don’t want to read about Period underwear.

Screen Shot 2017-09-20 at 8.03.34 PM

I had been wanting to try Thinx for aaagggeess. I finally brought a set in July and got them at the beginning of August. I love them. They are so comfortable just feel like normal underwear – I even wear mine anytime of the month.

They come in a variety of styles and some are more absorbant than others. The ones I got can apparently hold two tampons worth of blood.

You can use them alone or with cups or tampons so you don’t have to worry about leaks. If you don’t like pads these are for you. Check out the Thinx site here for all your questions. They have also just released an organic cotton line so I am going to get a set of those. You can get $10 off any thinx here if you want to get some.

3. Refilling reusable glass bottles

We refill our

๐ŸOlive oil

๐ŸTamari – soy sauce

๐ŸAlmond oil

๐ŸDishwashing liquid

๐Ÿ Handsoap

๐Ÿ Apple cider vinegar

They are all organic and work out cheaper than generic brands, so its a win win no more packaging, its cheaper or the same and its organic.

4. Reusable fruit and vege bags

Im sure you have noticed how many plastic bags it takes to buy your weekly fruit and vegetables. If you are just buying a few of something forget the bag and take it to the checkout as is.

Reusable mesh bags are really easy to use, they look so much better and they are better for the planet. You can even make your own if you are crafty.

5. Stainless steel bento lunchboxes

The compartments make it easy to decide what to put in the lunches for my two. I havent snapped a pic of our lunchbots boxes lately but we have the style pictured & that lunch looks delicious.

Bento lunch boxes of any kind make it easier to pack lunches without wrapping and packaging.

6. Enjo and Norwex cleaning cloths

Screen Shot 2017-09-20 at 8.42.29 PMCleaning without bottles of anything. Just water and the cloth. Saves the planet and pocket on chemical/natural cleaners. They are really quick and easy to use.

7. Stainless steel straws

Screen Shot 2017-09-20 at 7.39.42 PM

Straws are so bad. I wish that places would ask you if you’d like a straw with your drink instead of just giving them. Even if you give it back they are just going to throw it. Although if enough people start giving them back they might start asking if you would like a straw or nix them all together. Paper straws are a better option as they degrade easily.

Exciting Announcement! Did you see it coming?ย

I’ve done it! I’ve joined Doterra ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐ŸŽ‰

It was only a matter of time really.

Im into

๐Ÿ”ป natural products

๐Ÿ”ปethical companies

๐Ÿ”ปLove natural healing support & wellness support

๐Ÿ”ปIm really a hippie & pretty woo

We got our first major order of the oils yesterday and a new diffuser. The kids were so excited to get that thing going. It was nearing bedtime so went for the trusty old Lavender to help get them to dreamland.

What the hell do you do with those little bottles of good smelling ish?

Before being introduced to the magical land of Doterra I had very limited experience with essential oils.

I had used Lavender, Tea tree, Eucalyptus & a blend for a chakra. But I didn’t really know what else to do with the other scents and was just using generic brands.

It was something I really wanted to get into because of the emotional and physical wellness support that essential oils can offer. But didn’t know where to start.  I am so excited to be learning as I go with these oils.

There is so much you can do with them –  all the blends that you can create. Also the different ways they can be used – some can be added to food, used topically or diffused.

A fav to diffuse is Lemongrass and Wild Orange aka Get shit done. I need it often to get me motivated for a productive day. Wild orange in Brownie is really good too – got that tip from Melissa Ambrosini. (she even DM’d me to let me know quantities – fangirling)

My new tribe

I have joined rad af team aka Team Unicorn  ๐Ÿฆ„ with lead unicorn ๐Ÿฆ„ Leonie Dawson, who I have been a long time fangirl of. I have her shining year workbooks as well. The whole team is so supportive and have answered many of my questions in the facebook forums we are a part of.  We have live calls with them as well so its an awesome tribe to be a part of. I’m excited to introduce others to this awesome team.

Been curious about Doterra?

If you have also been curious about Doterra – I know you’ve seen them all over social.
