Exploring ways to use Tangerine oil. I love the citrus oils they are uplifting oils and I love adding them to water. This week I focused on trying new ways to use Tangerine oil.
My Oil of the week project – This year I’m choosing an oil a week to focus on, trying different ways of using it. I’m choosing oils which I haven’t used a lot. It works well with my Intentional living – using what I have, getting more value from what I have & going deeper with things.

Ways I’ve used Tangerine this week
🌿 A diffuser blend that I ended up trying during my last ‘oil of the week’ stint which was Marjoram.
2 drops Marjoram
2 drops Eucalyptus
1 drop Tangerine
Like I said an unexpected combo but I liked it.
🌿 One of the easiest ways to use the oils aromatically.
A drop of a tangerine oil in the palm of my hand, rub together and then cup hands over nose and take a few breaths. To get the energising and uplifting benefits of Tangerine.
🌿 Add a drop to my water for flavouring and getting the benefits of the oil internally. Which I’m comfortable with. I love the citrus oils in water Lime is my favourite.
🌿 More Diffuser blends I tried
1 drop of Tangerine
1 drop Green Mandarin
Very summery and the green mandarin is a different type of citrus scent as it is from the unripened mandarin.
1 drop Grapefruit
1 drop Lemon
1 drop Lime
1 drop Tangerine ( which I haven’t got a sticker for yet )
Calm & Happy diffuser blend
2 drops Tangerine
2 drops Balance
1 drop elevation
Some other uses
🍊Add 2–3 drops as a flavoring in cake and cookie recipes
🍊Add 1–2 drops in water, smoothies, teas, or lemonade for flavoring
🍊Apply to flex points or abdomen to promote feelings of happiness. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize sensitivity if needed
I loved focusing on an oil like this & ‘getting to know’ the oil better.
