I thought I would share a bit of my Night Routine 🌙

Cuppa
I have a cuppa usually an hour or so before I go to bed. Usually Berry Radical – For the relaxing benefits of magnesium & that chocolaty taste. other times a Jasmine green tea or herbal tea. Another fave is turmeric, masala with a dash of honey🍯. I must try this one with the new turmeric oil which I got in my Doterra convention kit.
Skincare
I wash my face with the Miessence Cream cleanser for sensitive skin. Then I apply my face oil which is an almond oil base with frankincense & Lavender oils. I add a drop of Vetiver to my face for calming & sleep support, after I’ve rubbed it on my face I rub the rest on the soles of my feet. 👣
Feed the Mind
I always try to Read a physical book before sleeping to help me calm down & get off the screen. I have also started doing ‘Pages before Scrolls’ reading at least 10 pages of a book first thing in the morning. Which is a great way to choose the content you are consuming, as opposed to being bombarded by the current of content from the outside world. I am currently reading an Abraham Hicks book – The astonishing power of emotions. As well as Rising strong – by Brene Brown 📚
Relax the mind
I always listen to a meditation as going to sleep, I’m not sure if I can get to sleep without one. I find it helps me unwind, get into a deep sleep and I just leave the meditation playlist running so it just goes on giving the message to my subconscious I guess. Its always an Oprah & Deepak Chopra meditation I love their series my faves are – ‘Hope in uncertain times’ & Abundance. They have a new free 21-day meditation series coming up ‘Energize your life’. This new round starts on Oct 29th its free & you can Join here. Also once you’ve joined one you get notified each time they start a new 21 day series, or you can purchase them.
Then Sleep 😴
I have been aiming to get to bed early and this is something I really want to get into place. I have read Arianna Huffington’s ‘The Sleep Revolution‘ and love Shawn Stevenson’s talks on sleep. Ultimately I just know that its a great foundation for overall wellbeing and avoiding burnout.
What is your fave part of your nighttime routine? or one thing you want to start doing each night? Let me know in the comments below.
